Black Lives Matter Anthem Singer Justine Skye Kneels At Brooklyn Nets Game

Singer and model Justine Skye joined athletes, singers and other celebrities across the country when she participated in the controversial protest of kneeling while performing the national anthem. During the home opener for NBA's Brooklyn Nets on Friday, Skye took to her knee after she finished singing the national anthem. Posting a video of the performance on her Instagram, she said: 'Got a bit shaky at the end.. was pretty uneasy about singing the anthem and probably won't ever be invited to sing it again but I had to take a knee for the opening game in my city and let my voice be heard. We will not be silenced ✊ #blacklivesmatter.' Source
