EGYPT

More than 30 killed as two trains collide in Egypt
Cairo (CNN)At least 32 people have been killed and 165 injured after two trains collided in Egypt on Friday, according to government statements.  Seventy-two ambulances were sent to the scene and reinforcement medical teams were sent to the incident in the Tahta district of the Upper Egypt governorate of Sohag from the capital Cairo, the Health Ministry said. Health Minister Hala Zayed said in a news conference that two planes were dispatched from Cairo with 52 medical teams from various specialties on board to treat the injured. Images from the scene showed crowds of people gathered around the twisted wreckage of the trains. The collision happened after an unidentified person pulled an emergency brake, Egypt's railway authority said in a statement.  Source

TAIWAN

Train crash kills 48 in Taiwan's deadliest rail tragedy for decades
HUALIEN, Taiwan (Reuters) - A Taiwan express train with almost 500 aboard derailed in a tunnel on Friday, killing at least 48 passengers and injuring 66 in the island’s worst rail disaster in almost four decades.     Images from the scene showed carriages in the tunnel ripped apart by the impact, with others crumpled, hindering rescuers in their efforts to reach passengers, although by mid-afternoon no one was still trapped.  “People just fell all over each other, on top of one another,” a woman who survived the crash told domestic television. “It was terrifying. There were whole families there.”  The crash, north of the eastern city of Hualien, killed the driver of the train carrying many tourists and people heading home at the start of a long weekend traditional holiday to tend to family graves.  Source

Two die in Texas after Tesla 'on auto-pilot with no one in driving seat' crashes into tree and starts massive four-hour fire that took 32,000 GALLONS of water to extinguish
Two men died after a Tesla 'on autopilot with no one driving' crashed into a tree in Houston before starting a huge fire that took 32,000 gallons of water to extinguish.   The fully-electric 2019 Tesla Model S slammed into the tree in Carlton Woods at around 11.25pm on Saturday night before bursting into flames with the passengers still inside.   Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman said an investigation had found that 'no one was driving' when the accident happened, with one man sitting in the passenger seat at the front and the second sitting in the back. Officials told KPRC 2 that the $80,000 vehicle was moving at high speed when it failed to negotiate a cul-de-sac turn, ran off the road and crashed.   Fire fighters used 32,000 gallons of water over four hours to try to put out the flames because the car's batteries kept reigniting.   At one point, deputies had to call Tesla to ask them how to put out a fire in the battery.  Dailymail.com has contacted Tesla for comment, as officials prepare to carry out autopsies on both men. 'It is now a recovery': Christian diet guru Gwen Shamblin Lara, her husband and five other chief members of the Remnant Fellowship Church are 'presumed dead' after their private jet crashes into lake

A small plane carrying Christian diet guru Gwen Shamblin Lara, her husband and five other members of the Remnant Fellowship Church crashed into a lake in Tennessee on Saturday, and all passengers are now presumed dead. The Cessna C501 left from Smyrna Rutherford County Airport before it slammed into the water in Percy Priest Lake in Smyrna, Tennessee at 10:53am shortly after take-off, officials said in a news release. The plane was bound for Palm Beach International Airport and it was not immediately clear who was piloting it. 'Our efforts have transitioned from that of a rescue effort to that of a recovery effort. Those efforts will be continuing through the night,’ Captain Joshua Sanders with Rutherford County Fire Rescue Department said during a press conference on Saturday night. Rutherford County officials had indicated earlier in the day that they had been able to confirm at least one person had died in the accident, though did not reveal who that passenger was. The plane is registered to Lara and her husband Joe Lara through their company JL&GL Productions LP, WTVF reported. Elizabeth Hannah, Lara's daughter, sent out an internal text to families of the church telling them the plane 'had to go down for a controlled, quick landing,' WTVF reported. Hannah's text identified them as her own husband, Brandon Hannah, along with the Laras - and church leaders David and Jennifer Martin and Jonathan and Jessica Walters. Rutherford County officials confirmed those identities in the press release late on Saturday. Source

San Jose Shooter Sam Cassidy, 57, Had Stockpile Of Weapons: Rifles, Pistols, Shotguns, 17 Molotov Cocktails And 25,000 Rounds Of Ammunition

San Jose shooter who killed nine co-workers stockpiled an arsenal of 25,000 rounds of ammunition, Molotov cocktails and booby-trapped his kitchen, reveal FBI

The San Jose gunman who killed nine people on Wednesday at the transport hub where he worked had 25,000 rounds of ammunition and multiple weapons in his home, sheriffs have revealed. Sam Cassidy, 57, killed himself on Wednesday morning after the attack at the Valley Transport Authority. Inside his home he had left a series of home-made bombs, timed to explode at the same time he began his rampage. A fire broke out at the property in the Ramblewood district of San Jose, but it was not burnt to the ground. The neighborhood was evacuated and bomb detecting robots sent inside.'Initial investigations indicate over 25,000 rounds of ammunition. Several firearms have been located at the residence including several Molotov cocktails that the bomb squad is currently deactivating,' said Sgt. Joe Piazza, a spokesman for Santa Clara County sheriffs' office.

The streets around Cassidy's home in the 1100 block of Angmar Street were evacuated, so that a bomb squad could detonate the explosives found inside. Piazza told a press conference on Friday: 'Various weapons have been located. Those weapons were located at different locations within the residence. So they were not all centrally located, you'd normally see in a safe or closet or something like that. We've seen shotguns, rifles and handguns at the residence.' The sheriffs office later confirmed that 12 weapons were found at the home. KTVU said there were 17 Molotov cocktails, and that Cassidy was a hoarder, which slowed the discovery of the devices. San Jose police spokesman Steve Aponte confirmed a 'hoarder situation' further hampered the search. Piazza said they believe the weapons were placed in various locations around the home so Cassidy could have access to them in case his plot was foiled. Cassidy had started a fire in the kitchen, where he had placed ammunition inside a pot on a stove and surrounded it with accelerants. 'They were in glass containers that were filled with liquids,' he said. 'It appeared to be flammable liquids. Further lab testing will be done at a later date to confirm the actual liquid, but there was also some cloth or paper on the top of them which can be set on fire in order to use the device.' Source

Did Patrisse Khan-Cullors & Janaya Khan Order Targeted Hit On BLM Activist 'Black Panther Of Oxford' Sasha Johnson?

 Janaya Khan

Again, the evil practices of the last and worst form of democracy are all found in tyrannies. Such are the power given to women in their families in the hope that they will inform against their husbands, and the license which is allowed to slaves in order that they may betray their masters; for slaves and women do not conspire against tyrants; and they are of course friendly to tyrannies and also to democracies, since under them they have a good time. For the people too would fain be a monarch, and therefore by them, as well as by the tyrant, the flatterer is held in honor; in democracies he is the demagogue; and the tyrant also has those who associate with him in a humble spirit, which is a work of flattery. Janaya Khan co-founder of Black Lives Matter Toronto

Patrisse Khan-Cullors retired from BLM yesterday.

Khan is married to Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors.

Patrisse Khan-Cullors blames right wing extremist for making her retire from BLM.

She leaves BLM a week after the shooting of BLM Activist 'Black Panther Of Oxford' Sasha Johnson.

Five held over Sasha Johnson attempted murder: Police arrest four 'drug dealers' then detain fifth man following car chase - three days after BLM activist was shot in head during 'melee' at Peckham party

Two men and three teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection to the shooting of Sasha Johnson. The Met said the five suspects - aged between 17 and 28 - were all arrested yesterday as part of a police operation by the force's Violence Suppression Unit and remain in custody. Detective Chief Inspector Richard Leonard from the Met's Specialist Crime Unit said: 'While the investigation remains in its early stages, these arrests show that progress is being made.'However, I would continue to appeal to those who may hold information about the events that led to Sasha receiving her horrific injuries, or about those responsible, to do the right thing and come forward and speak to police.'  SOURCE

The first suspect - a 17-year-old man - was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and possession with intent to supply class A drugs after a proactive routine stop yesterday afternoon. The Met say investigations led them to an address in Peckham where three others were arrested on suspicion of affray and possession with intent to supply class B drugs. The fifth man – aged 25 – was arrested later that evening following a police pursuit of a car in Peckham. He was arrested on suspicion of affray and failing to stop for police. All five have since been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remain in custody. Superintendent Kris Wright, from the Central South Command Unit, responsible for policing in Southwark and Lambeth said: 'These arrests are the result of instinctive local police work, combined with fast-time intelligence gathering, and shows the effectiveness of the various police teams in the Met working together. Inside BLM co-founder Patrisse Khan-Cullors’ million-dollar real estate buying binge

As protests broke out across the country in the name of Black Lives Matter, the group’s co-founder went on a real estate buying binge, snagging four high-end homes for $3.2 million in the US alone, according to property records. Patrisse Khan-Cullors, 37, also eyed property in the Bahamas at an ultra-exclusive resort where Justin Timberlake and Tiger Woods both have homes, The Post has learned. Luxury apartments and townhouses at the beachfront Albany resort outside Nassau are priced between $5 million and $20 million, according to a local agent. The self-described Marxist last month purchased a $1.4 million home on a secluded road a short drive from Malibu in Los Angeles, according to a report. The 2,370-square-foot property features “soaring ceilings, skylights and plenty of windows” with canyon views. The Topanga Canyon homestead, which includes two houses on a quarter-acre, is just one of three homes Khan-Cullors owns in the Los Angeles area, public records show. Some fellow activists were taken aback by the real estate revelations. Hawk Newsome, the head of Black Lives Matter Greater New York City, which is not affiliated with Khan-Cullors’ Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, called for “an independent investigation” to find out how the global network spends its money. BLM co-founder says black homeownership helps fight ‘white supremacy’

Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Khan-Cullors complained about racism in the housing market — saying black homeowners help “disrupt white supremacy.” The self-confessed “trained Marxist” on Saturday shared to her Instagram page an NPR story addressing the “racist architecture of homeownership” — following her recent $3.2 million property-buying binge. “Thank you @npr for highlighting the history of racism inside of the housing market and why Black homeownership has always been a way to disrupt white supremacy,” she wrote. Last month, Khan-Cullors was ripped when property records showed that she had snagged four high-end homes for millions, with BLM Greater New York City calling for “an independent investigation.” The 37-year-old activist did not directly address her own buying spree, which includes a $1.4 million home in an exclusive Los Angeles neighborhood where the vast majority of residents are reportedly white. Why did Patrisse Khan-Cullors resign? BLM co-founder slams 'right-wing attacks' amid $3M real estate row

Patrisse Khan-Cullors, a co-founder of Black Lives Matter, is stepping down as the organization's executive director after a dispute over her $3 million property holdings. Cullors, who has led the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation for nearly six years, made the announcement on Thursday, May 27.While she denounced a far-right smear campaign, she said that neither that nor recent criticism from other Black organizers influenced her decision to leave. According to The Associated Press, the 37-year-old campaigner is quitting to focus on other projects. One of them includes the release of her second book and a multi-year TV development agreement with Warner Bros, the Daily Mail reported. Her last day with the foundation is Friday."I've created the infrastructure and the support, and the necessary bones and foundation, so that I can leave," Cullors said. "It feels like the time is right." Monifa Bandele, a longtime BLM organizer and founder of the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement in New York City, and Makani Themba, an early backer of the BLM movement and chief strategist at Higher Ground Change Strategies in Jackson, Mississippi, are joining the foundation as interim senior executives to help steer it in the near future.

Why did Patrisse Cullors resign?

Her departure, however, comes after it was revealed last month that despite describing herself as a "trained Marxist", she has amassed a $3M property portfolio. Cullors received a great deal of backlash after it was revealed that she spent a lot of money on herself, including buying a $1.4M home in a posh Los Angeles neighborhood. Many people were left wondering what percentage of BLM donations went to social justice programs. She, however, claims that her resignation has been in the works for over a year and has nothing to do with the personal attacks she has been subjected to. "Those were right-wing attacks that tried to discredit my character, and I don't operate off of what the right thinks about me," Cullors told Associated Press. SOURCE

Where's JΓΌrgen? Timeline Of Belgian Manhunt For Rogue Soldier JΓΌrgen Conings, 46, Stole Arsenal Of Weapons From Base And Went On The Lam

The hunt for JΓΌrgen Conings: a timeline

A manhunt for career soldier JΓΌrgen Conings (46) has been underway in Belgium since 17 May, when Conings allegedly stole an arsenal of deadly weapons from a military barracks and went on the lam. A note left behind for his girlfriend indicated that he “planned to join the resistance and may not survive,” and previous threats to Belgian virologist Marc Van Ranst – the man behind many of the calls related to Belgium’s coronavirus lockdown measures – were considered serious enough to warrant placing Van Ranst and his family in a safehouse under police protection. Conings was already being monitored by intelligence agencies because of his extreme right-wing political views, and was even on an official terrorist watchlist alongside members of IS. Because Conings’ military expertise is said to be camouflage and marksmanship, he is both incredibly difficult to find and incredibly dangerous. As the manhunt enters Day 8, here’s a look back at the timeline.

Tuesday, 18 May

Police formally announce their search for a then-unnamed professional soldier from the barracks of Peutie, at the time said to be armed with a rocket launcher, a machine gun and an ordinary pistol.“That person has apparently moved around,” Erik Cenens of the police said on May 18. “[He was] first in the Beringen region and then further north towards Pelt, the Netherlands and Maasland. We are trying to locate the man as exactly as possible to be able to arrest him.” Authorities found Conings’ car parked near the Hoge Kempen National Park in Limburg. An army bomb disposal unit inspected the vehicle before taking it away and media reports at the time that it was “booby-trapped” are later said to be premature, as authorities still await the results of an official analysis.

Wednesday, 19 May

Police close the Hoge Kempen National Park in Limburg, saying there are “strong indications” that Conings may be hiding there.Over the course of Wednesday afternoon, a whole column of police vehicles arrived at the National Park, as well as at least one armoured army vehicle. Helicopters circled over the park as the search entered hour 30, and more details emerged about Conings’ identity and past. It’s learned that Conings is actually listed as a PGE: a potentially violent extremist, described as “a person with extremist views who has an intention to use violence, but has not yet taken concrete steps to do so.” The threat level was raised to the highest level, indicating the existence of concrete plans and “a degree of imminence.”

Thursday, 20 May

As the search for Conings continues, a number of Mosques in the province of Limburg temporarily close their doors, dozens of parents keep their children home from school and both military and police increase their presence in the area. The search turned international when Dutch and German authorities announced they’re “on alert and ready.” Because the park where authorities suspect Conings is hiding is close to the Dutch and German borders, it’s considered possible that he’s trying to get to one of those countries. A separate police action took place in the Leuven sub-municipality of Wijgmaal, near where Van Ranst is said to have a residence: Het Laatste Nieuws reported that a helicopter circled above virologist Van Ranst’s apartment in Herent, and authorities later confirmed that Conings was “within range of his target” for up to two hours at some point. Around 350 policemen and soldiers are involved in the search, and it’s said that JΓΌrgen Conings has enough ammunition “for a small war.” Some media report hearing gunshots, but police said these were not related to the search, and may have just been recreational hunters on adjacent land. Defense Minister Ludivine Dedonder (PS) is given extra police protection, but it is not said why. The E314 towards Lummen between Maasmechelen and Genk-East is closed, causing significant traffic jams along alternative regional routes.

Friday, 21 May

Finishing their sweep of the National Park Hoge Kempen in Limburg, authorities discover what they believe to have been the campsite of JΓΌrgen Conings. “Radicalised people from extremist movements, whether or not equipped with rocket launchers, are not going to determine my life in the least,” said Van Ranst, who remained under police protection with his family. Defense Minister Dedonder and Prime Minister Alexander De Croo also spoke out, promising tough measures as critics questioned how a man on a terrorist watchlist was able to access the armory at a military barracks. After completing their search of the park, at least fifty vehicles from special units gathered in Maasmechelen and began moving in the direction of Lanklaar. Belgian troops were supported with units from Luxembourg and Germany, while Dutch special units guarded border crossings. Governor Jos Lantmeeters told press in Maasmechelen that while authorities were still searching the same 20-kilometre zone in the park, the perimeter was expanded and searches were being conducted throughout Belgium. The E314 was reopened, but the Hoge Kempen National Park remained closed to the public.

Saturday, 22 May

With no significant developments in the search for Conings after the discovery of his presumed camp site in the Hoge Kempen National Park, media reported more extensively on the fugitive’s past military experience and his current political views. Conings wrote two letters before disappearing: one to police, warning them of what he was about to do and making a threat against virologist Marc Van Ranst; and another to his partner. “I can’t live with the lies of people who decide how we should live,” he wrote in part. “The so-called political elite and now also the virologists decide how you and I should live. They sow hatred and frustration, worse than it already was. And no one rebels against that. If you say anything, you will be punished.” Van Ranst blamed Belgian far-wing political party Vlaams Belang for “actively creating an atmosphere against virologists.” Some media reported that Conings left his military medals on the graves of his parents in Peer. Ten house searches took place across Belgium, including in Peer, largely targeting people involved in far-right movements or known to have Nazi sympathies. Former military serviceman Tomas Boutens, who was sentenced to five years in prison back in 2014 for his membership in a neo-Nazi group, claimed his home was among those searched. A Facebook fan club formed for Conings and quickly garnered 20,000 members, and has continued to grow. Around 150 people gathered for a silent march of support in Maasmechelen. The fan club shared a “Team Jurgen” banner image they found online, calling for support for the fugitive. Horrified relatives of the deceased man that the banner was originally created for (meant to rally support for the man’s battle with lung cancer) begged them to stop. Police prepared to use a water cannon against people trying to break through closed forest roads to De Salamander, but the rain dispersed most of them. The search of Hoge Kempen National Park was stopped and the park was reopened. An international warrant for Congings was issued by Interpol.

Sunday, 23 May

Eleven soldiers who are being actively tracked by intelligence services for their radical far-right beliefs are removed from weapon depots and no longer given access to sensitive places and information, as Conings remains unfound. Police clarify that they intend to capture Conings alive, while also saying they will “act appropriately and respond in self-defense” should the situation call for it. Minister of the Interior Annelies Verlinden announced that “we have no indications of where he is.” Conings was officially designated a terrorist suspect, with provisional charges of “attempted murder and illegal possession of weapons in a terrorist context.” This allows the security forces extra powers when investigating the case, which they would not have in the case of a routine criminal. Police assume that Conings had a second target, in addition to virologist Marc Van Ranst, who remains under police protection in a safehouse.Steven Gelders, a former member of Special Forces, said that the search can’t go on much longer: “In his condition, things will sooner or later go wrong.”

Monday, 24 May

With Conings still at large, federal prosecutor FrΓ©dΓ©ric Van Leeuw issued an appeal via TV news for the fugitive to get in touch with someone he trusts in order to work out how to turn himself in peacefully. “We have been working very hard on this search in recent days,” said Van Leeuw. “A major search has been launched in the short term. The army and security services have been deployed to guarantee the safety of everyone, including that of JΓΌrgen Conings.” Investigators are considering whether the clues that sent them to the Hoge Kempen National Park were deliberately placed to lead authorities in the wrong direction.

Tuesday, 25 May

The manhunt continues. “We are now using all the means at our disposal to investigate the life of the suspect,” said Wenke Roggen of the federal public prosecutor’s office. “We are trying in every possible way to trace what he has done in the past few days and what he plans to do next. We want to locate him and find out what his actions are.” Investigators are considering whether Conings may have arranged a safehouse beforehand or taken shelter with associates. The Facebook fan club for Conings had nearly 50,000 members before Facebook shut it down. The group’s members questioned the power play in the search for Conings and the alleged difference between this manhunt and the one for the perpetrators of the 2015 and 2016 attacks in Paris and Brussels. Authorities reiterated their intent to take Conings alive. “We do not want there to be any misunderstanding about that, because that could provoke a bad reaction from Conings himself or from others,” the federal prosecutor said. Meanwhile, Belgium’s Chief of Defence emphasised that “Conings is no resistance fighter, hero or victim,” while adding that “mistakes were made” in terms of how Conings was able to access the armory at the barracks while being on a terrorist watchlist.

San Jose Shooter Samuel Cassidy, A 57 Year-Old Maintenance Worker Murdered Eight Co-Workers And Commited Suicide

PICTURED: Employee who shot eight dead during union meeting at light rail yard in San Jose before killing himself: Cops find explosive devices in the building and suspect's own home on fire

At least nine people are dead and others injured following a mass shooting at a California light rail yard, the county's sheriff's office said Wednesday. The gunman - identified as Samuel Cassidy - opened fire a little before 7am local time at the yard run by the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority near the city's main airport. The eight victims were Valley Transportation Authority employees. Authorities did not release their names. Cassidy, 57, also died in the shooting. Santa Clara County Sheriff Laurie Smith said it was 'undetermined' how the maintenance worker at the site died but local reports suggest he turned the gun on himself. He is also understood to have set fire to his own home before carrying out the rampage. Multiple weapons and ammunition are said to have been found there. Sheriff spokesman Deputy Russell Davis said a bomb squad was searching the yard after 'at least one' explosive device was found. One employee's mother told KTVU that the shooting occurred during a meeting of union members. VTA spokesperson Brandi Childress said the building where the shooting took place required security access, adding: 'We ask for people's prayers.' Seven victims died at the scene. Two patients were transported to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, according to spokesperson Joy Alexiou. One person was pronounced dead upon arrival, and the other was in critical condition. London Police Hunt Four BLACK MUSLIM MEN Over TARGETED ATTACK In The Shooting Of BLM Activist 'Black Panther Of Oxford' Sasha Johnson

Police hunt 'four young black men' over shooting of 'Black Panther of Oxford' Sasha Johnson: Gang 'wearing dark clothes' burst into Peckham party at 3am and opened fire - as officers reiterate it was NOT a 'targeted attack'

Sasha Johnson was shot in the head by a gang of four young black men who stormed into the garden of a Peckham all-day party and opened fire - but the BLM activist was not the intended target, Scotland Yard said today. Commander Alison Heydari has made an appeal for anyone who knows the identity of the shooters to come forward and help police 'bring them to justice' as the mother-of-two fights for her life in hospital. The self-styled 'Black Panther of Oxford', 27, who called for the police to be defunded after the murder of George Floyd in the US last summer, needed emergency surgery following the attack in south-east London in the early hours of Sunday morning. Speaking outside Scotland Yard today Commander Heydari said: 'We have established that she was in a party in Peckham. At about 3am a group of four black men dressed in dark clothing entered the garden of the property and discharged a firearm. They had left the scene before officers arrived. 'We're aware of Sasha's involvement in the Black Lives Matter movement and the concern this will cause some communities. But at this time we have no information that suggests that she was subject to a targeted attack. We're also not aware of any threats to her life prior to this incident'. Source

Liberal Media's Dramatic Flip-Flop! TRASHED Theory That COVID Originated From A Wuhan Lab - Now Throw Their SUPPORT Behind The Idea

Liberal media's dramatic flip-flop! A year after left-wing news TRASHED theory that COVID originated from a Wuhan lab when Trump supported the suggestion - outlets now throw their SUPPORT behind the idea

The liberal media have finally conceded that COVID-19 may have originated in a Wuhan laboratory - after a year spent ridiculing the suggestion. The first fatality from COVID-19 was reported by Chinese state media on January 11, 2020, when a 61-year-old man who was a regular customer at the market in Wuhan died. The first confirmed case in the United States was 10 days later, when a man returned to Washington state from Wuhan. Within a week, on January 26, 2020, the first article blaming the Wuhan Institute of Virology for the outbreak was published, in The Washington Times.Yet most mainstream media disputed the claims, dismissing them outright or even decrying them as racist. When Donald Trump, on May 1, 2020, said he had 'a high degree of confidence' that the virus escaped from a lab, the New York Times, CNN, and NPR were quick to mock his comments. Source

Black Drive-By Gunmen Shot BLM Activist 'Black Panther Of Oxford' Sasha Johnson In The Head....

Drive-by gunmen shot 'Black Panther of Oxford' Sasha Johnson in the head as they opened fire on house party at 3am after 'dispute between rival gangs' - and she was NOT the intended target, says one of her friends

A British Black Lives Matter leader took a bullet in the head when a London gang carried out a botched drive-by shooting to assassinate a rival at the end of an all-day party - and she was 'not the intended victim', a friend and fellow anti-racism campaigner said today. Sasha Johnson, 27, the self-styled 'Black Panther of Oxford' who has called for the police to be defunded after the murder of George Floyd as well as helping lead the 'Rhodes Must Fall' campaign to topple controversial statues, was 'brutally' attacked in Peckham after receiving multiple death threats, her political party said. But today family friend Imarn Ayton, founder of the UK Black Reformist Movement, said Sasha, famed for wearing black military uniform at protests including a stab-proof-style vest, was caught up in a dispute between two rival gangs - and was not shot because of her activism. ‘It was wrong place, wrong time. I do not believe she was the target’, she said. One neighbour in south-east London told MailOnline that she heard 'two shots' and then the sound of 'screeching' tyres at around 3am on Sunday. Forensics teams have sealed off the property and are searching the area for bullet casings and the weapon. Ms Ayton told the BBC: ‘As far as we’re aware she [Sasha] was at a party and there was a rival gang that may have heard about a person being there that they didn’t feel comfortable with, or trusted, so they resorted to driving past and shooting into a garden. And one of those shots obviously hit Sasha Johnson. But I don’t believe she was the intended target’. Source

New Yorker Goes Into Action As An Assailant Randomly Stabbing A Woman

Fear On The 91: Dozens Of Freeway Pellet Gun Shootings Unnerve Drivers And Stump CHP

Taryn Campbell sat at the wheel of her Ford Flex, grinding along in stop-and-go traffic on the 91 Freeway. That was when she heard the "loud popping sound." "It startled me. I saw the window had been cracked," Campbell said. "The car behind me was two lengths back, so I knew I hadn't been rear-ended. Something had flown through the window."That's when I called my husband, and he told me someone has been shooting through car windows on the freeway," she said of the May 11 incident in Corona near Lincoln Avenue. Like tens of thousands of Southern California commuters, Campbell was heading home after a long workday. Her route to the Inland Empire from Orange County is one of the nation's busiest arteries. And in recent weeks, that freeway has become a crime scene — at the center of nearly 60 incidents in which motorists have come under fire in Orange, Riverside and Los Angeles counties. Campbell, a hospitality manager, crawled home to the Norco area with her window gradually falling apart. Once she stopped and investigated the damage, she found a buckled pellet inside her vehicle. California Highway Patrol investigators think it is same ammunition fired at dozens of drivers in recent weeks. "I am just grateful no one crashed because of this pellet," she said. "But sooner or later, someone is going to get hurt or worse." Such shootings aren't unprecedented on California's busy roadways. Given the scale and the escalating threat, the CHP is conducting a widespread, coordinated investigation across three counties, Assistant Chief Donald Goodbrand said. "We do believe it is coming from a moving vehicle," Goodbrand said Thursday. "At this point, we are still determining if this is an individual or multiple individuals. We have shootings in the morning and afternoon." In fact, the rear window of a CHP patrol car was shattered after being struck May 14 in Anaheim on the eastbound shoulder of the 91. "We are taking each of these incidents seriously and actively searching for those responsible," Goodbrand said. "The public should still feel safe while driving their vehicles on our California freeways." Source

Winnipeg woman feared for her life as man in truck relentlessly rammed her car

A Winnipeg woman is certain she and her father could have died after she says a man in a white truck pursued her through the city's west end and repeatedly struck her vehicle. Kiana Jobo was driving her father to the bank on Thursday at about 3 p.m. when she decided to make a left turn from Sargent Avenue onto Milt Stegall Drive. Jobo says another driver going eastbound on Sargent was turning right at the same intersection, so she inched forward to ensure it was safe to make the turn. "A man in ... a white Chevy Colorado aggressively drove up to my vehicle in the intersection and stopped right in front of my car and got extremely and unreasonably aggressive realizing that I was in his lane. And so he starts honking his horn and flipping me off," Jobo said. The situation took a turn for the worse when Jobo says he followed her down the road and began ramming her four-door Hyundai repeatedly. When she managed to drive away, back down Milt Stegall Drive toward Sargent, she says he followed her. "It was traumatizing," she said. Jobo took off speeding, and says she was pursued by the man. She blew through stop signs, she says, going up to 80 kilometres per hour southbound on Valour Road, while being repeatedly rammed from behind, causing her to hit a number of other cars parked on the street. For the time has come when the most astonishing wonders will take place on the earth and in the air. Our Lady of La Salette 19 Sept. 1846 (Published by MΓ©lanie 1879)

Voices will be heard in the air. Men will beat their heads against walls Our Lady of La Salette 19 Sept. 1846 (Published by MΓ©lanie 1879)

“The demons of the air together with the Antichrist will perform great wonders on earth and in the atmosphere, and men will become more and more perverted. Our Lady of La Salette 19 Sept. 1846 (Published by MΓ©lanie 1879)

Our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against Principalities and Powers, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places. Ephesians 6:12

Here read from St. Thomas Aquinas on where Demons reside...

Article 4. Whether our atmosphere is the demons' place of punishment?

Objection 1. It would seem that this atmosphere is not the demons' place of punishment. For a demon is a spiritual nature. But a spiritual nature is not affected by place. Therefore there is no place of punishment for demons.

Objection 2. Further, man's sin is not graver than the demons'. But man's place of punishment is hell. Much more, therefore, is it the demons' place of punishment; and consequently not the darksome atmosphere.

Objection 3. Further, the demons are punished with the pain of fire. But there is no fire in the darksome atmosphere. Therefore the darksome atmosphere is not the place of punishment for the demons.

On the contrary, Augustine says (Gen. ad lit. iii, 10), that "the darksome atmosphere is as a prison to the demons until the judgment day."

I answer that, The angels in their own nature stand midway between God and men. Now the order of Divine providence so disposes, that it procures the welfare of the inferior orders through the superior. But man's welfare is disposed by Divine providence in two ways: first of all, directly, when a man is brought unto good and withheld from evil; and this is fittingly done through the good angels. In another way, indirectly, as when anyone assailed is exercised by fighting against opposition. It was fitting for this procuring of man's welfare to be brought about through the wicked spirits, lest they should cease to be of service in the natural order. Consequently a twofold place of punishment is due to the demons: one, by reason of their sin, and this is hell; and another, in order that they may tempt men, and thus the darksome atmosphere is their due place of punishment.

Now the procuring of men's salvation is prolonged even to the judgment day: consequently, the ministry of the angels and wrestling with demons endure until then. Hence until then the good angels are sent to us here; and the demons are in this dark atmosphere for our trial: although some of them are even now in hell, to torment those whom they have led astray; just as some of the good angels are with the holy souls in heaven. But after the judgment day all the wicked, both men and angels, will be in hell, and the good in heaven.

Reply to Objection 1. A place is not penal to angel or soul as if affecting the nature by changing it, but as affecting the will by saddening it: because the angel or the soul apprehends that it is in a place not agreeable to its will.

Reply to Objection 2. One soul is not set over another in the order of nature, as the demons are over men in the order of nature; consequently there is no parallel.

Reply to Objection 3. Some have maintained that the pain of sense for demons and souls is postponed until the judgment day: and that the beatitude of the saints is likewise postponed until the judgment day. But this is erroneous, and contrary to the teaching of the Apostle (2 Corinthians 5:1): "If our earthly house of this habitation be dissolved, we have a house in heaven." Others, again, while not admitting the same of souls, admit it as to demons. But it is better to say that the same judgment is passed upon wicked souls and wicked angels, even as on good souls and good angels.

Consequently, it must be said that, although a heavenly place belongs to the glory of the angels, yet their glory is not lessened by their coming to us, for they consider that place to be their own; in the same way as we say that the bishop's honor is not lessened while he is not actually sitting on his throne. In like manner it must be said, that although the demons are not actually bound within the fire of hell while they are in this dark atmosphere, nevertheless their punishment is none the less; because they know that such confinement is their due. Hence it is said in a gloss upon James 3:6: "They carry fire of hell with them wherever they go." Nor is this contrary to what is said (Luke 8:31), "They besought the Lord not to cast them into the abyss"; for they asked for this, deeming it to be a punishment for them to be cast out of a place where they could injure men. Hence it is stated, "They [Vulg. 'He'] besought Him that He would not expel them [Vulg. 'him'] out of the country" (Mark 5:10).
