A Texas YouTuber has broken his silence after it was revealed the Trump shooter was wearing a t-shirt from his merchandise line. Thomas Matthew Crooks was seen in Demolition Ranch apparel after he was shot dead during the assassination attempt at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday. The 20-year-old grazed Trump's ear, killed one spectator and injured two more before a Secret Service counter assault agent killed him. Photos circulating in the hours since Crooks fired a series of bullets at the former president show him wearing the grey Demolition Ranch short-sleeved t-shirt with an American flag on the arm and block lettering. The brand is linked to Matt Carriker's popular video channel, which is devoted to showcasing guns and and shooting various types of weaponry. Now the founder of Demolition Ranch, which boasts almost 12 million subscribers, is has shared his reaction to learning Crooks was in his brand. 'What the hell,' Carriker wrote Saturday evening in a Facebook posting that saw a photo of Crooks lying dead. After finding out about Crooks endorsement of his channel, Carriker took to X to explain how he had been contacted by members of the media asking about his connection and if he had ever spoken with the shooter. 'Last night was crazy… I’ve got news stations calling me asking if I ever spoke with the shooter… what… the… hell,' Carriker tweeted, clearly in shock. Carriker, who calls himself as 'King of the Demolitia' and has been running his YouTube channel for the last 13 years and now receives billions of views. He started the venture as a hobby in 2011.
His postings across social media this weekend received 147,000 likes on Instagram and a further 9,000 on Facebook.
Many loyal followers sought to reassure Carriker that he was not responsible for Crooks' actions. 'So sorry your logo was possibly attached to this.. you aren't attached to these actions at all bro stay positive and keep sharing the good stuff you do,' wrote Shonduras.
'Unfortunately, we can’t control who wears our merch in the wild. But people that know you, know that you don’t condone acts such as this. At the end of the day, this was a piece of trash that just happened to throw on a DR shirt,' wrote another.
'Matt, we know you do not stand for violence. This doesn’t affect what we think of you. Your actions show your intentions,' reassured another online poster.
'On the positive, your shirt will live in history for a thousand years,' added another on X.

Donald Trump has selected Sen. JD Vance of Ohio as his presidential running mate, ending months of speculation about the Republican nominee’s choice to help him challenge President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
“After lengthy deliberation and thought, and considering the tremendous talents of many others, I have decided that the person best suited to assume the position of Vice President of the United States is Senator J.D. Vance of the Great State of Ohio,” Trump said Monday in a Truth Social post.
Two other top Republican contenders, Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, were told earlier that they would not be picked, NBC News reported.
The Biden campaign promptly panned the selection, accusing Trump of picking Vance because he will “bend over backwards to enable Trump and his extreme MAGA agenda, even if it means breaking the law and no matter the harm to the American people.”
“Billionaires and corporations are literally rooting for J.D. Vance: they know he and Trump will cut their taxes and send prices skyrocketing for everyone else,” read the statement from Biden-Harris campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon.
Biden’s official X account separately wrote that while Vance “talks a big game about working people,” he and Trump “want to raise taxes on middle-class families while pushing more tax cuts for the rich.”

Catholic Priest Prayed for Donald Trump’s Safety at PA Rally Moments Before Shooting
The priest said that the Trump campaign contacted him a few days ago and asked him to offer a benediction at the rally.
A Catholic priest who gave a benediction during former President Donald Trump’s rally Saturday told people they needed to pray for Trump moments before Trump was shot and wounded.
Father Jason Charron, a Ukrainian Catholic pastor, told CNA a group of about 15 to 20 people called him over to a barricade within the rally site as he was trying to leave shortly before Trump began speaking.
“I said to them: I prayed for him and his safety, but that they have to pray, as well, because there are people who want to kill him,” Father Charron said in a telephone interview with CNA late Saturday night. “And little did I think — literally a few minutes later there was this kind of indistinct sound, and people began leaving, and at that point I heard someone saying that that was a gunshot.”
A gunman trying to kill Trump firing several times at the former president, hitting the top of his right ear while killing a spectator and wounding two more, authorities said.Father Charron said he met briefly with Trump before the former president went out to address the crowd at the rally, which took place in an outdoor venue at Butler Farm Show in Butler County, Pennsylvania.
“I spoke with him regarding the situation in Ukraine, and shook his hand. It wasn’t a very in-depth conversation,” Father Charron said.
The priest told CNA that the Trump campaign contacted him a few days ago and asked him to offer a benediction at the rally. In an interview that aired on the 'Pints with Aquinas' podcast Saturday night, Father Charron recounted the prayer he offered at the event.
“My prayer was one of protection. My prayer there was for the restoration of right relationships in our society — relationships at the individual level, at the familial level, at the societal level, such that our national would be made great again in God’s sight. And our nation be made great again, I said, that our world be made great again, in God’s sight,” Father Charron said.“All of this presupposes that people, first of all, begin to live their daily lives in accordance with God’s will,” the priest added.
Father Charron said he is aware of Trump’s policy pronouncements that conflict with Catholic teaching, including Trump’s recent statements saying he favors the availability of abortion pills. But he alluded to Trump’s pro-life actions, which include while he was president appointing three U.S. Supreme Court justices who helped form a majority that overturned Roe v. Wade in June 2022, which enabled states to ban abortion.
“If people are going to wonder why I was at a Trump rally, it wasn’t to canonize him or absolve him from his many imperfections,” Father Charron told CNA.
“His recent shyness on championing pro-life legislation is undesirable, and it’s not for that that I’m there, but to encourage him to build on the pro-life victories of his first administration,” he said.Father Charron was ordained to the priesthood in the Ukrainian Catholic Church for the Diocese of St. Josaphat in 2008. FBI identifies Trump rally shooter as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks
Authorities have identified the gunman involved in the attack against former US President Donald Trump on Saturday as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, who was killed by Secret Service agents at the scene after the shooting.
The FBI named Crooks in a statement early Sunday morning, identifying him as a resident of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania – about 35 miles south of Butler, where Trump was holding his rally.
Crooks fired on Trump while perched on a nearby building rooftop outside the rally’s security perimeter, before being killed by the Secret Service, according to law enforcement officials.
Witnesses at the rally described a “bloody” and chaotic scene, with people trying to administer first aid to those hit by the gunfire and struggling with the dense crowd.
The shooting left one rally attendee dead and two others in critical condition, authorities said. Trump was injured, writing on social media that he’d been hit by a bullet in the upper part of his ear – though his campaign said he was otherwise fine. Trump flew back to Newark, New Jersey, late Saturday night.
Now attention turns to the active and ongoing investigation, which involves multiple federal and state bodies. The FBI has urged members of the public to submit any information they have through a tip line or the agency website, including photos or videos of the shooting.
Crooks graduated from Bethel Park High School in 2022, according to a local media report and a video of the school’s commencement.
He was registered to vote as a Republican, according to a listing in Pennsylvania’s voter database that matched his name, age, and a Bethel Park address that law enforcement was searching Saturday night and is linked to Crooks in public records.
This year’s presidential election would have been the first he was old enough to vote in.
Federal Election Commission records show that a donor listed as Thomas Crooks with the same address gave $15 to a Democratic-aligned political action committee called the Progressive Turnout Project in January 2021.When reached by CNN late Saturday night, Crooks’ father, Matthew Crooks, said he was trying to figure out “what the hell is going on” but would “wait until I talk to law enforcement” before speaking about his son.
After being killed at the scene, Crooks didn’t have any identification on his body, so agents had to “run his DNA and get biometric confirmation,” Kevin Rojek, the special agent in charge of the FBI’s Pittsburgh field office, said at a press conference Saturday night before the gunman was named. Mystery as two top execs at rehab company kill themselves and facilities suddenly shut down across the US: 'There's more to the story'
Employees of a multistate rehab company have been left in the dark after several facilities shut across the country following the suicides of the two top executives.
Retreat Behavioral Health, which has facilities in Florida, Philadelphia and Connecticut, abruptly closed their facility in Palm Beach, Florida, last week.
Employees told WPTV that around 100 mental health and substance use patients were told to pack up and leave, including 30 who had nowhere to go. Facilities in Lancaster County, PA, and New Haven, CT, have also since shuttered following the deaths of CEO Peter Schorr and CAO Scott Korogodsky.
Korogodsky had taken up the leadership of the company after Schorr killed himself at his home in Delray Beach, according to LancasterOnline.
Days after Schorr died, Korogodsky also killed himself life - according to the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner's Office. Lissa Franklin, the VP of Southeast Florida Recovery Advocates, told CBS12: 'I'm sure there’s more to the story, but from the employees that I spoke with most everybody that was there did find safe and supportive discharge options.
'It’s very sad what happened to the Retreat. From my experience. it was a great program.
'They always helped everyone in the community. They treated everybody with compassion and kindness.'
According to Franklin the facility was one of the only ones in the area that accepted Medicaid or VA health insurance policies.
Internal emails sent to staff and seen by the outlet show that Korogodsky assured members of staff they would be paid after a delay in receiving paychecks.
On Thursday, Alexander Hoinsky, the chief financial officer for the facility, said that the company had been on dire straits financially for at least a year.
Hoinsky told WPTV that he had grew concerned after executives at the company stopped taking his calls.
He said: 'I left messages and emails [and] laid out what was going to go forward. Basically, they did not want to hear it.' He continued: 'Here's the facts, the company ran out of cash. Revenue dropped drastically and they didn’t adjust costs.'
Meanwhile workers at the facility in Palm Beach are still waiting to be paid for their work after being informed of their termination last week.
One nurse said: 'I don’t know what days I was scheduled for. I just decided to show up.
'I just wanted to be there. Because when they said everybody was going to be discharged it just sounded like such a huge task.'
The nurse, who wished to remain anonymous, told WPTV, that the fire alarm had been triggered and everyone was out of the building.
After being let inside, she claimed that patients started fighting with each other with staff members unable to deescalate the situation.
According to the worker, patients were breaking into nurse stations to get at narcotics - while workers emptied fridges full of food.
Hoinsky believes that employees will be paid for their final three weeks work and is hoping he will also be paid. Source

A Russian-Ukrainian man has been arrested after blowing himself up in a Paris hotel room, a source in the office of France’s anti-terror prosecutor has said.
The 26-year-old was treated by fire-fighters after he “suffered significant burns following an explosion” at the hotel near Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport on Monday, the source told Reuters.
A subsequent search of his room led to the discovery of products and materials intended for the manufacture of explosive devices, the source added. A stash of guns and fake passports were also found at the hotel, situated in the commune of Roissy-en-France, French media outlets reported.Anti-terror prosecutors working alongside France’s domestic spy agency have opened an investigation into the man, who is suspected of participation in a terrorist conspiracy and bomb plot, according to the source.
Neither the Ukrainian or Russian embassies in Paris immediately responded to a request for comment. Paris CDG airport said its operations had not been affected.The suspect is reportedly a Russian-speaker from eastern Ukraine’s Donbas region, which has been embroiled in civil war since 2014 and is now largely occupied by Russia’s invading forces.
According to Le Monde, he had recently acquired Russian nationality and fought in the Russian army for two years before arriving in France.
The arrest came as France holds three days of commemorations for the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings, which marked the start of France’s liberation from the Nazis. US president Joe Biden is expected to visit on Thursday. France is on maximum threat alert with less than two months to go until the start of the Paris Olympics. The Games take place against a complex geopolitical backdrop, with wars in Ukraine and Gaza, and pose a major security challenge.Last month, French security services foiled the first planned attack on the Games, with the arrest of an 18-year-old Chechen man allegedly preparing a suicide mission at Saint-Etienne’s soccer stadium.
It comes just weeks after the Financial Times reported that European intelligence agencies had warned their governments that Russia was plotting violent acts of sabotage across the continent, and had started to prepare covert bombings, arson attacks and damage to infrastructure, both directly and through proxies.
