A West Virginia police officer has been charged with bribery after allegedly having sex with a woman seeking to avoid a traffic citation. Marcus David Slauer, 27, of Fairmont was charged with one felony count of bribery on Friday after he was arrested by troopers with the State Police. A criminal complaint says Slauer, who is engaged to be married, pulled over a woman for speeding on April 22 while he was working as a Farmington police officer, the Times West Virginian reported.
